Meet Robyn

Helping You Live Fully AND Healthy!

Hi, I'm Robyn! I'm a certified Integrative Healthcare Practitioner with a passion for unlocking human potential by optimizing nutrition, environmental exposure, exercise, and overall wellness.

I was raised in Orange County, California, where I spent as much time as I could basking in the California sun and swimming in the open ocean, but spent much of my adult life on the “third coast” of Nashville, Tennessee. My family and I recently relocated to our new home of Saint George, Utah, where we take every opportunity to embrace the outdoor beauty of the Utah desert.

I am a student of the world, and have spent my life immersing myself in and learning from various cultures. As a teenager I lived in Japan as an exchange student. As a college student, I studied abroad in the Dominican Republic and served as a missionary in Finland. I continue feeding my passion for world culture as a regular visitor to Guatemala, where my family and I donate our time as medical volunteers. In all my travels, I have learned to incorporate the ancestral wisdom of the cultures I have visited into my daily wellness routines.

In addition to my certification as an integrative healthcare professional, I am a certified personal trainer and running coach, sound healing practitioner, and a Boston Marathon finisher. I received degrees in Marriage, Family and Human Development, and Spanish from Brigham Young University. I am a wife, the mother of five children, a dog owner, a crazy chicken lady, and a sauna enthusiast. I am a lifelong learner, and a believer in the power of a holistic approach to healthcare.

I can’t wait to help you on your health journey!

Quick Facts

Growing Up

I was born in Utah, raised in Southern California, spent a decade in Nashville, TN, and am now embracing life in the desert of Saint George, UT. When I was little, my mom asked me what my favorite color was. I told her green, because it meant GO! Life with 5 kids, a husband, and 2 of our own businesses has taught me the true definition of what it means to GO. Life is wild + crazy. I like it.

Eating Habits

Mostly plant-based, with a healthy dose of dark chocolate. I grew up in a family where we tried all sorts of weird stuff just because it was “good for us.” Herbal Fiber Blend and Barley Greens were the absolute worst. But as a result, I will literally eat anything in the name of good health.

So don’t be alarmed when you come over and see me take a swig of apple cider vinegar before bed, or when I offer you turmeric powder to add to your drink, or make a face mask using bentonite clay (right after drinking a little first). I’ve been known to make my husband a vegetable smoothie that literally makes him sweat (jalapeños, anyone?) and recently said that if I could only eat one thing for the rest of my life it would be cooked beets and mushrooms. Or maybe Hawaiian purple sweet potatoes.

Best Decision of my Life

Besides marrying my favorite person and becoming a mom 5 times over, deciding to start my own online business, and believing I could truly be successful ranks way up there. I’ve been dabbling in online business since 2008 when I started a little fitness blog. When I had my first paid partnership with 24-Hour Fitness all those years ago, I saw the real possibility of making money online. I took a break (that never ended) from my little blog when we moved across the country, then a few more babies joined our family, but the itch to build my own business never left.

I later became a certified running coach, built a website, and then a few years later, signed up as a Seint artist on a whim. Since then, I’ve helped hundreds of women with their makeup.

In 2022, I expanded my business to include even more of what I am truly passionate about—helping women live their best, healthiest lives.

Drink of Choice

Kefir water (my favorite is KeVita Mojita Lime Mint Coconut—SO GOOD), and an occasional Diet Dr. Pepper. I reserve Zip Fizz for road trips and nights when I need to stay awake past 10 pm. Otherwise, I’m a boring water drinker. Lots of it.

Beauty Challenges

I struggled with horrible skin and acne for years! As a college student in the Dominican Republic for a semester abroad, a random old man presented me with a picture of a plant he thought I needed for my broken out face (I wish I knew what plant he was trying to tell me about–it probably would have worked!). I appreciated his (and many others’) concern, but I really wanted to hide. I had already tried what felt like EVERYTHING. I was tired of feeling like people looked at me, and instead of really seeing ME, they only saw my imperfect skin.

Ideal Vacation

I can’t wait to take my family to any of the places I’ve lived abroad—The Dominican Republic, Finland, or Japan. Someday I want to swim with elephants in Thailand, or go on an African Safari. But for now, I love seeing the magic of Disney World through my kids’ eyes or watching them play with cousins at our annual family reunions. Some of our favorite memories are from the most simple vacations in the most boring of places.

My passion

Running! Pretty much every big life lesson I’ve learned somehow relates back to running! I can’t tell you how many times I’ve literally tripped and fallen and gotten myself back up to finish my long run (while trying to see through my tears). Or how many marathons I’ve run where I crossed the finish line just short of my BQ goal. But I always dust myself off, get back up, and keep trying and pushing and reaching higher. That has led me to success in running and life.

You'd Never Guess

I once was the top door-to-door salesperson for a pest control company. As much as I hate having bugs in the house, sharing about health and beauty is soooo much more fun. I have degrees in Marriage, Family, and Human Development and Spanish, but I started college as a math major (with plans of becoming an astronaut). I’m grateful for every choice that led me to RIGHT HERE, meeting YOU. Can’t wait to connect with you!

And in case you're here to find out more about my non-biz life...

I was born in Utah, raised in Southern California, spent a decade in Nashville, TN, and am now embracing life in the desert of Saint George, UT. I am a wife to my favorite running partner, Joe. Together we have 5 crazy + fun kids.

I started out as a very average runner with a dream to someday qualify for the Boston Marathon. Becoming fast enough didn’t happen overnight, but in the process, I gained so much more than just a race entry. I learned that anything is possible with a little grit and a lot of determination. Now I’m running hard as a business owner to achieve all my dreams and goals with Seint Beauty and Thrive Family Wellness, which means I’m bringing a lot of running partners along on the journey!

I’ve lived in Japan, the Dominican Republic, Finland, and the USA. I speak Spanish and Finnish, and barely survived Japan (as a 16-year old) by saying "hai" to anyone who spoke to me in Japanese. (Translation: "yes").

When choosing a name for my LLC, I chose "The Sisu Group." Sisu is a Finnish word that we don’t have a direct English translation for. The best explanation I’ve found for "Sisu" is... a special strength and persistent determination. Sisu is extraordinary endurance in the face of adversity...an almost magical quality, a combination of stamina, determination, perseverance, guts full of courage, tenacity, resolve and willpower, and indomitable spirit held in reserve for hard times.

Going on a health journey takes sisu. Building a business takes sisu. Raising kids takes sisu. Running a marathon takes sisu. Life in general requires a whole lot of sisu.

Speaking of life in general, I love good, tearful laughs, daily dance parties, babies, fireworks, and huge rainstorms. I love my family, dessert, podcasts, audio books, and American Idol. I’ve been known to wake up at 3 am to nurse a baby before going on a long run on a crazy Saturday.

I love to remember that there really is joy in the journey, not just the finish line. Life is good...and a little crazy. I like it.
